Scholarship applications are accepted every year between September 1st and September 30th via our website www.melihaercanvakfi.org.tr. Announcements are made through the Foundation’s website and social media accounts.

Academic achievement and the family’s income level are taken into consideration.

The application process is exactly the same for students who will attend the preparatory class.

Even if a student receives another scholarship, our Foundation continues to provide support. Other institutions may have their own conditions.

Our Foundation supports students studying within Turkey only.

Special scholarship quotas are allocated for students studying arts and sports.

After online applications, interview lists are prepared. Candidates are informed primarily by email and, if necessary, by phone. The process is finalized with the approval of the Scholarship Committee.

You should send an email explaining the situation along with your ID number and full name to melihaercanvakfi@melihaercanvakfi.org.tr.

The scholarship may be terminated in cases of false statements, a year-end grade point average falling below 2.50 on a 4.0 scale (equivalent grades in other grading systems will be considered), failure to submit required documents, or withdrawal from school.

Scholarships are paid monthly for 9 months and deposited on the 15th of each month into the student’s personal bank account.

Scholarship payments continue during exchange programs such as Erasmus, provided required documents are submitted.

The scholarship status is re-evaluated by the Scholarship Committee.
