In the Akören district of Konya, in the Tülce neighborhood, approximately 52 hectares of land owned by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance in the Karataş area have been afforested. Approximately 50 hectares of the 52-hectare project area have been planted with 15 varieties of plants and saplings, including oak, hawthorn, hawthorn, linden, and other flowering tree species important for beekeeping, as well as medicinal and aromatic species such as lavender, sage, and thyme. Construction of service roads, fire safety roads, and apiaries on an area of 2.45 hectares began in 2019 and was completed in 2021 due to the pandemic.
